Menu Plan Monday: March 28th, 2011!

This week I am continuing on my clutter-riding challenge (pictures later), as well as have a Dr's appt to take my husband to, work to do, and, of course, deal shopping that needs to be done.  Here's what's gonna be cooking this week...
Breakfasts: Fruit and Yogurt Smoothies, Cold or Hot Cereal

Lunches: Tuna or PB&J Sandwiches with Chips or Celery/Carrot Sticks with Dip

Dinners:
Sunday -Leftover Nibbling from the Fridge
Monday - McDonald's!
Tuesday - French Toast with Bacon and Fruit
Wednesday - Chicken Parmesan Cutlets with Spaghetti and Green Beans
Thursday - Ham Cubes in Homemade Scalloped Potatoes (Recipe later this week!) with Asparagus
Friday - Fajitas (chicken or steak - TBA) with Mexican Rice and Corn
Saturday - Homemade Chicken Alfredo Pizza (again!  Recipe later this week!) with Salad

Extras: Brownies and Strawberry Gelatin and Peach Cups (both for Joe)  :-)

Yesterday Joe and I stopped into Walgreen's to pick up a few deals and roll my RR's.  I think the trip was pretty successful; here's what we ended up with...

I ended up doing 3 transactions at CVS this week in order to roll my ECB's effectively.  Here's how it went yesterday...

Menu Plan Monday: March 21st, 2011!

This week's menu is still part of our cleaning out the freezer self-challenge.  We are making progress, but not nearly as fast as I would like.  We also have a viewing and funeral we need to attend down on the eastern shore the middle of this week.  So, our menu will be pretty basic, which is the way I like it :-)  Maybe we will even get to do some grilling again - come on Spring!  Here's what's cooking this week...

Breakfasts: Cold Cereal, Hot Cereal, and Fruit Smoothies with ground flax seed added in

Lunches: Leftovers, or Tuna or Deli Meat Sandwiches with Chips, or Salad

Dinners:
Sunday - Dinner at Bob Evans with Joe's Grandfather
Monday - Taco Salad (with pre-cooked Taco meat from the freezer)
Tuesday - Orange Chicken (Pre-packaged bag meal from ALDI), Egg Rolls (extras from 2 weeks ago, frozen), and Jasmine Rice
Wednesday - Out (we will be coming home from the funeral)
Thursday -Grilled Hot dogs with Pasta Salad or Mac and Cheese and Salad
Friday - Homemade Pizza with Alfredo Sauce and Chicken with Salad
Saturday - Chicken and Asparagus Pasta with Salad and Garlic Bread

Dollar Tree Trip this Week!

I have since been back to the dollar store to pick up some chips, 2 freezer items, and some hot dog rolls, but here is what I picked up earlier this week...
