Menu Plan Monday 05/31/2010

This week is going to be a busy one! There are doctor appointments, picnics, gardening and of course work that need to be accomplished. This week officially starts our eat from the pantry challenge, as Joe and I are going away for a few days the end of the month, and we need to save all we can so that we can splurge a little while we are away! Here's what's cooking this week:

Breakfasts:
Today Melinda and Joel are coming up to eat with us and watch the parade here in town, and we are eating french toast casserole* The rest of the week is cold cereal and bagels with yogurt

Lunches:
Leftovers or PB&J Sandwiches, there are also some frozen dinners that I am going to try and clean out of the freezer as well

Dinners:

Sunday - Sloppy Joe's with Cheese, French Fries and Salad
Monday - PICNIC at my Mommy's house, I'm bringing the Taco dip and a Strawberry Jello Poke Cake*
Tuesday - Chicken Fajitas with Tortilla chips with some melted cheese on top and Salad
Wednesday - Sirloin Pork chops* with Rice and a veggie
Thursday - Squash and Chicken Parmesan* over noodles with Salad and Garlic Bread

Big Lots -- Great Deal on Gold Medal Flour!

I stopped into Big Lots to look the gardening items over (pictures of our garden to come), and didn't really find anything that screamed BUY ME! So I decided to take a gander at the food section and the pet section, which I try to do every time I'm in the store. And I did find some awesome food deals!

Food Lion Chicken Run!
