Wal-mart Trip from Friday + Small Rant!!!

Why, oh, why do I even bother to shop at Wal-mart? They have a beautiful coupon policy on their website, but NO ONE knows how to follow it, not even the floor managers!!! Am I the ONLY one who finds this to be a HUGE issue?! This is exactly why I have a printed copy of the policy in my coupon holder (yeah, I did just go there), so that when told, "we don't take Internet print-ables more than $2," I can whip it out and say "oh, but actually, you do!" After a call and short chat with the store manager, I am hoping that the next time I visit the Hanover Super Wal-mart, they have it a little more together. Anyway, I still ended up with some great deals, even if drama was involved to obtain them ;-)

I love my ALDI Trips, so much for so little!

Well, Joe and I were in need of a few things that I KNOW are a lot cheaper at ALDI, like hummus, broccoli, and snacks. Here's what we ended up with...
1 bag Pretzels $1.29
1 bag Nacho Cheese Chips (Doritos) $0.99
1 bag Tortilla Chips $0.99
2 pkts Guacamole Mixes @ $0.49 ea = 2/$0.98
2 tubs Hummus (for Joe of course) @ $1.69 ea = 2/$3.38
2 cans Chili-ready Diced Tomatoes (to try) @ $0.49 ea = 2/$0.98
2 cans Frozen Apple Juice Concentrate @ $0.82 ea = 2/$1.64
1 pkg Almond Bark (I'll share the recipe I am using this for later this week) $1.89
2 lbs Red Grapes (these are delicious!) $1.78!!!!
3 lb bag Yellow Onions $1.29
1 pkg of Beautiful! Broccoli Crowns $1.39
Total OOP, no tax: $16.60, saved at least $21 based on the prices of things @ Shopper's in Westminster, MD!!!
