You can buy 7 of certain items & 6 from another list and earn $0.20 off per gallon ea = a total of $0.40 off per gallon (up to 30 gallons) for buying 13 items and using coupons. You can look at the ad here http://martinsfoods.gsnrecipes.com/Shop/WeeklyAd.aspx and decide whether this is a good deal for you or not. Make sure to check your coupon organizers for coupons that match up to those items, as well as typing in the product name online to find if there are any coupons available for said product.

Menu Plan Monday!!

Joe and I are going on Week 3 of the Eating from the Pantry challenge, and still going strong!!! Here's the menu plans for this week...
Breakfasts: Cereal, muffins from the freezer, bagels/toast, yogurt

Lunches: Leftovers, grilled cheese or PBJ Sandwiches, canned soup

Dinners:
Sunday - Homemade Buffalo chicken Pizza with Salad and homemade Ranch dressing
Monday - Baked Pork ribs with Jasmine Rice with Salad with homemade Ranch dressing
Tuesday - Eggs with Ham, toast and canned fruit
Wednesday - Parmesan Crusted Tilapia, Parmesan Romano Rice and Salad with Ranch Dressing
Thursday - Left Over Buffet, maybe loaded Potatoes, depending on what's left in the Fridge
Friday - Homemade Pizza with Salad and homemade Ranch dressing
Saturday - Steak Fajitas with Mexican Rice and probably more Salad :-)

Desserts: PB Chip Cookies & a Chocolate PB Bar Dessert (both mostly for Joe and his sweet tooth)

Eating for the Pantry Week #2 Wrap-up

Joe and I did a wonderful job eating from the pantry this week, even though he was in the hospital for two days, and came home with a very particular stomach, we still prevailed!!!
