Friday's Shopping Adventures!

Joe and I went shopping on Friday and ran some errands when we got back into town, here's what we picked up...

The main reason for the shopping trip was to go to Lancaster, PA and stop at the outlets so that Joe could use his gift cards from Christmas towards a new pair of shoes.  He was able to get 2 pairs for about $50 after the gift cards and discounts.  We also stopped into a farmer's mkt while we were up there and I got two bags of cheese pretzel crackers for $2.95 ea and 5 lbs of Raw, unprocessed Sugar for $6.75.  We also got some nice warm soft pretzels for a snack while we were there.
All in all, it was a wonderful day!

    Joe and I just go home from a long two day trip this evening, and I have two shopping trips planned with my mom this week, plus I have school work to work on, and it's suppose to be very H-O-T!  So, needless to say, dinners are going to be easy and light.  Here's what's cooking this week...

    Breakfasts: Cold Cereal, Fruit and Yogurt Smoothies, or Slice Cantaloupe with Cherries and Red Grapes (my favorite!)

    Community Aid Thrift Store Trip!

    A new thrift store just opened in Hanover, PA, and I LOVE it!  They have the nicest, cleanest thrift store I've ever seen.  Goodwill, eat your heart out!  Anyway, Joe and I stopped there yesterday on our way to our anniversary dinner, and I was able to find a few nice new items for my wardrobe, unfortunately Joe wasn't as lucky, nothing in his size this trip, but maybe next time :-)  Here's what I ended up with...
     I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cute little cotton jacket.  This will be wonderful this Fall and next Spring, so many colors to work with, and it fits perfectly!  Cost: $4.99
     1 pair of Comfy pink sweat pants to wear around the house Cost: $1.99 - 50% off Tan Tags Sale = $0.99!
    And lastly, I picked up this sweater shirt for Spring/Fall.  I just love the nice rosy pink.  Cost $2.99
