Today's CVS Trip

Joe and I had quite a few prescriptions waiting for us at CVS this morning.  There weren't a lot of deals this week, but I did roll my ECB's while we were there, mainly stocking up on canned goods.  Here's what we ended up with...

2 cans Diced Tomatoes $1.19 ea - $0.69 ea Sale = 2/$1

2 cans Whole Corn $1.19 ea - $0.69 ea Sale = 2/$1

4 cans Cut Green Beans $1.19 ea - $0.69 ea Sale = 4/$2

3 various Hallmark Cards $0.99 ea - $3 ECB wyb 3 = 3 FREE!

1 GE Light Bulb $5.99 - $3 Sale - $1 ECB = $1.99 (I had a $1/1 coupon as well but they wouldn't take it because it said Wal-mart on it, even though it stated 'Manufacturer Coupon' on it as well.  Should have been $0.99 - Ugh!)

1-3 pk Hankies for my Stocking from Joe $1

+ $0.39 Tax

- $8.99 ECB's used to Pay

Total OOP: $2.36, Earned $4 ECB's for next week!

Today's Dollar Tree Trip

I stopped back into the Dollar Tree for another white plate and some wax tarts (which smell like yummy vanilla ice cream) for Christmas presents, and found some nice bath things while I was there...

Today's Walgreen's Trip

Not many deals at Walgreen's this week at all.  I did roll my RR's and got some free baking powder.  Other than that, just some essentials...

2 boxes Baking Soda 2/$2 - $1 in-ad Coupon = 2/$1

2 containers Clabber Girl Baking Powder $0.99 ea - $0.98 in-ad Coupon - $0.50/1 MC x 2 = 2 FREE!

1 container Walgreen's No Salt Cashews $5.99 - $3 Sale = $2.99 (for homemade trail mix)

1 Crest Toothpaste $2.99 on Sale - $1/1 MC (newspaper) - $1 RR = $0.99 (if I would have know this type was included I would have brought my $2/1 MC and it would have been free - ugh!)

1 pkg Heel Savers for Joe's Shoes $4.99 - $2.50 clearance = $2.49

+ $0.33 Tax

- $6 RR (should have been $4, but I didn't realize this until I got home)

Total OOP: $2.80, Earned $1 RR
