Weekly Spending Report: 02/12-18/2017

This past week was a HEAVY shopping week.  There were great deals to be had at Giant (Lean Cuisine meals and $0.99 Eggo Waffles) and CVS (much needed vitamins).  We also stopped into ALDI really quick for just the essential gallons of H2O and snacks, and a cake mix.  And, lastly, we found some really cool things at the Dollar Tree this week.  The 'Home Sweet Home' decal is already on the back of my front door, and Howard is loving his workbooks and stickers.  He also LOVED the huge traffic cone, so we got it for him to use with his large tractors, and trucks.  Overall it was good week, I feel like even though I did a lot of shopping, and got a lot, I really don't think I spent too much!  Below you can see how my spending broke down...

Weekly Spending Report: 02/05-11/2016

This week we are finally getting back into a groove of shopping on Sundays.  I do prefer to get it over with before the work week starts, but things have been so crazy around here with meetings, and work, and Howard, and Joe's grandfather being in the hospital, that I sometimes just send Joe and Howard out to ALDI while I'm at work.  It's actually been working for about two months now, but I'm ready to get back in the shopping action.  We stopped into ALDI on Sunday for the usually stuff - snacks, veggies, fruit, and just misc things.  We also made our way to Giant on Sunday.  They were having an amazing deal on our favorite brand of pizzas, so I got us stocked up for a while.  I also picked up a few things that we can't get at ALDI, like real Doritos and my tea biscuits.  Joe and Howard made a Petco (not shown because it's a different budget) and ALDI run on Friday for some more fruit and snacks to get us through the weekend.  Last weekend we had teas here at the museum, so I knew I'd be too busy to go shopping, and I was right.  I did manage to stop into the Dollar Tree and pick up my newspapers and a few other random items before I had to be back for work.  Below you can see how my spending broke down.  Overall the month is shaping up really well budget-wise...
