ALDI Shopping Trip
I was very happy that I got to stop into ALDI Tuesday with my Mom and do some shopping! I was EXTRA EXCITED when I saw a HUGE crate of blueberry pints marked to just $0.59 ea!!! I wish I would have cleaned my freezer out before I went instead of when I came home, because at that price I would have bought a case! Sorry no picture of my deals, but I will list them out so that you can see the prices and compare them to other stores so that you can get the best deal!
4 pints Blueberries @ $0.59 ea = 4/$2.36
1-2 lb container Red Grapes (these are super sweet & HUGE!) $2.78
1 box Buffalo Popcorn Shrimp(I thought these looked interesting and worth a try) $1.99
1 big jar Dill Hamburger Pickle Chips $1.49
1 loaf 12 Grain Bread (this turned out to be VERY good!) $1.89
1-6 ct bag Large Cinnamon Raisin Bagels $0.79 (if I would have known they were on sale I would have grabbed another one!)
1 bag Mini Pretzels $1.29
3 cans Blueberry Pie Filling @ $1.99 ea = 3/$5.97
1 jar 16 oz Medium Salsa $1.69
3 boxes Peanut Butter Chocolate Wafer @ $0.99 ea = $2.97
Total OOP, no Tax!: $23.22
Febreeze Give Away & Review!
I was very lucky to be able to review some of Febreze's NEW products thanks to MyBlogSpark! I received a box full of goodies to try out! The flame-less luminary was very cool! It takes batteries and you can change the shades which are different colors, designs and SCENTS! I was able to try several different scents, including the cherry blossom, cranberry pear, and willow blossom. The cranberry pear was delicious smelling! The willow blossom was a very clean scent, kinda like a fresh load of laundry that's right out of the dryer! Cherry blossom was definitely my favorite though; it was very 'springy,' and smelt like fresh flowers!
Also I was able to try the No-Spill Wood Diffuser, in the Honey-suckle Orchid Scent. At first I wasn't sure whether or not the diffuser would actually smell because of the way it is set up to be spill-proof. But sure enough the scented liquid travels through the rod and up into the top block of wood. It makes the wood slightly moist and wonderfully scented! This particular scent has a very crisp and fresh aroma! The only draw-back for me was the fact that the lid that you have to remove from the jar in order to insert the wooden rod was EXTREMELY difficult to remove. My husband had to use pliers to remove it for me. But other than that a wonderful and truly spill-proof product!
Last but certainly not least I am doing my VERY FIRST giveaway, and let me tell you, I am SUPER EXCITED about it! This giveaway is very simple, it includes a $10 Wal-mart gift card (provided by MyBlogSpark) that the receiver can use to purchase a new Febreze Home Collection item.
