There were a few things I wanted, but were already out of stock, like the $0.99 canned chicken, so I just got the free cough drops...

Joe and I stopped into CVS today for cheap tea and free cards, and they were both in-stock - YEAH! Here's how it went down...

6 Lipton Teas $1.79 ea - $0.79 ea Sale - $1/2 MC (newspaper) x 3 - $1 ECB wyb 5 = 6/$2
+ $0.18 Tax
- $5.97 ECB's used to Pay
Total OOP: $0.18, Earned $4 ECB's for next week!

Menu Plan Monday: October 10th , 2011

This week is going to be full of more transcribing, and catching up on housework. Here's what's cooking this week...

Breakfasts: Multi-grain Pancakes* with Syrup; Cream of Wheat Cereal, or Fruit and Yogurt Smoothies

Lunches: Leftover Zuppa Tuscana, Canned Soup and Sandwiches, or Fried Eggs on Waffles, all with Apple Slices

Dinner:

Sunday - Pizza Hut Take-out :-)

Monday - Leftover Buffet

Tuesday - Crock-pot Roast Turkey Cutlets with Homemade Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans

Wednesday - Soft Tacos with Chips and Salsa or Nachos

Thursday - TBA

Friday - Baked Potato and Bacon Soup* with Crusty Bread Machine Bread

Saturday - Homemade Personal Pizzas

* = New Recipe

Extras: Possibly some Apple Crisp (after I finish canning my seeming endless supply of apples!)

Friday's Shopper's Trip (No post, just ice cream): $7.69 oop
Saturday's Dollar Tree Trip: $7 oop
Saturday's Rite-Aid Trip (no post, just newspapers): $3.40 oop

Total OOP: $23.49 - $15.60 Earned Rewards and Rebates = Net OOP: $7.89 -- That's what I call a GREAT week!

I stopped into the Dollar Tree this morning for my newspapers, but they were out, so I picked up a few needed this while I was there...

4 cartons Chicken Broth (ALL NATURAL WITH NO PRESERVATIVES!!!) $4 (I'm definitely going to get a few more next week, I was glad to find them since I used my last can of broth earlier this week!)
