Menu Plan Monday: July 25th, 2011!

This week Joe and I are getting ready to go away for a few days next week to attend a Steam show on the Eastern shore and set up a flea market stand.  So, this week will be full of straightening the house, packing clothes and food and stuff to sell, cleaning up the trailer to stay in while we are away, and probably a few other things that I have forgotten, but are on the to-do list.  So meals this week will be simple, and hopefully the weather will cooperate and be a little cooler...

Breakfasts: Cold Cereal, Fruit and Yogurt Smoothies or Slice Fruit with Cinnamon Sugar Toast

Lunches: Leftovers, Greek Salads with Cooked Chicken and Homemade Dressing

Dinners:

Sunday - Greek Salad with Homemade Dressing and Baked Chicken Breasts on top with Warm Rolls

Monday - Pizza Take-out/Leftovers

Tuesday - Sauteed Turkey Kielbasa with Scalloped Potatoes and Asparagus

Wednesday - Taco Salad with Tortilla Chips and Homemade Guacamole

Thursday - Parmesan Broiled Tilapia and Asparagus with Jasmine Rice

Friday - Homemade Pizza/Pizza Pockets with Veggies and Dip

Saturday - Leftovers/Pasta with Sauce and Leftovers mixed-in with Garlic Bread

Extras: Pudding Cups, Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream, and Cheese with Crackers or Chips and Salsa

I stopped into CVS earlier this week and found some of my sister's razor blades (which are becoming a limited commodity), so I picked her up a box and she paid my back for them when I dropped them off to her.  I also got a few other deals this week.  Here's how it went down...

This past Sunday Big Lots put a coupon out for 20% off everything in the store, so Joe and I stopped in to see what kind of deals we could find.  Here is what we ended up with...

Menu Plan Monday: July 18th, 2011!

This week I am deep cleaning the house.  I have already cleaned out both freezers and have a freezer-cooking day already planned for later this week.  This will hopefully provide some easy and quick meals for weeks to come :-)  Here's what's cooking this week...

Breakfasts: Eggs with Toast and Bacon, Yogurt and Fruit Smoothies, or Granola and Yogurt parfaits

Lunches: Leftovers, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Fried Eggs on Waffles or PBJ Sandwiches
