Happy 4th of July!

I just wanted to wish everyone a WONDERFUL Fourth of July & I hope everyone is enjoying their picnics and fireworks!

If you are in the Westminster area on the 4th feel free to come on out to the Farm Museum to see our fireworks display and visit me at the farm house, I'll be giving tours from 3-6 pm.

Also, I'd like to thank all those serving in the military, as we would not be the land of the brave or the free if you weren't!

This was definitely a shopping highlight for me!  It's been a L-O-N-G time since I have gotten AWESOME coupon deals at somewhere besides Rite-Aid & CVS!  While I was at the beach, I stopped into the Dollar General, and boy was I glad I brought my coupons on vacation with me, just in case, if you know what I mean :-)

Menu Plan Monday 06/21/2010

This week Joe and I will be at the beach!  We are SUPER EXCITED!  But since it is vacation, I only have a tentative Menu Plan, so check back this week for recipes, and updates, and pictures!

Joe's Birthday Tractor Cake!

I know this is a little late, like almost a whole week late to be exact, but who's counting, right?

Any who, this is the cake I made and decorated for my husband's birthday picnic last Tuesday night.  Both of our families came over to eat some hot dogs and have cake.  We did have a wonderful time!

Joe and I had the pleasure of attending his cousin's wedding on Saturday.  We had a blast for the little amount of time we actually go to spend there (we had 4 parties going on here at the museum)!
