Menu Plan Monday - 05/10/2010


This week we are planning our menu around what we already have on hand as a way to keep our spending down! Here's what's cooking here this week:

This month Joe and I have decided to do another eat from the pantry challenge. We are going to keep our spending below $100 for the month (hopefully!) and plan our meals around what we have on hand already. Here's how Week #1 went...

Food: $14.55, but I will be receiving $20 in MIR's, so in actuality I made Money!
Health & Beauty: ZERO!
Household: $6.12
Total OOP: $20.67, after MIR's $2.87!!!!

Separate Budget Items: $9.60 for Shoes at Wal-mart for my Mother-in-law's wedding, and $4.01 in wrapping paper and cards for Mother's Day and the wedding at the Dollar Store.
