Wal-mart Trip from Friday + Small Rant!!!

Why, oh, why do I even bother to shop at Wal-mart? They have a beautiful coupon policy on their website, but NO ONE knows how to follow it, not even the floor managers!!! Am I the ONLY one who finds this to be a HUGE issue?! This is exactly why I have a printed copy of the policy in my coupon holder (yeah, I did just go there), so that when told, "we don't take Internet print-ables more than $2," I can whip it out and say "oh, but actually, you do!" After a call and short chat with the store manager, I am hoping that the next time I visit the Hanover Super Wal-mart, they have it a little more together. Anyway, I still ended up with some great deals, even if drama was involved to obtain them ;-)
2 Fancy Feast Cat Foods $2.18 ea - $1/1 MC = $1.18 ea or 2/$2.36
1 Scrabble Card Game $5.24 - $4/1 MC = $1.24

New Recipe for Tilapia -- So Yummy!!!

I used the recipe Here, except I swapped out the dried Basil for Italian seasoning & the onion powder for Garlic Powder & omitted the celery salt, as I did not have these items on hand. This was absolutely delicious! I served it with Parmesan Romano Rice, broccoli with cheese sauce, homemade focaccia bread & a salad. Joe wants this to become a weekly meal, we'll have to see what kind of sales I can find for tilapia locally... Leave a comment and tell me what you thought of it if you decide to try it at home :-D Bon Appetit!

Martin's TP Run!!!

There is nothing like stumbling upon a great toilet paper sale!! It is by far one of the hardest things to stock pile, because even with a sale and coupon, it is usually not very cheap. So, when I read the Martin's ad this week and noticed that the Quilted Northern TP was a decent price and I had coupons, I figured I would stock up for a while, one can NEVER have too much TP ;-)
